1. Single Stroke Roll


It’s hard not to play a single stroke roll – almost everything comes back to it at some point! You’re going to use it all the time and all though it is conceptually quite simple, this one takes a fair bit of work to dial in at faster tempos so you can play as loosely as possible.

Here are two great workouts designed to help you build speed and control – Purple Singles and 16/32 Build Up. They simple, but they will make you work at higher tempos and will serve you well for a lifetime. Enjoy!
